Individual Therapy

As a systemic therapist, my goal is to help you make sense of what you are living through, regain confidence in your ability to act and make decisions, discover your inner self and find harmony in yourself and with others. Embarking on the therapeutic path involves learning to see life differently and, above all, discovering (or rediscovering) your personal resources.

Psychological problems are best understood as an interaction between individuals and their contexts. These interactions are crucial for building up, maintaining but also overcoming psychological and behavioral patterns.

Throughout the therapy you will explore your background. What patterns did you learn from your past, for example, how did/does your family deal with certain things? And how do these patterns influence how you deal with interpersonal and other life stressors in the here and now?

During the sessions we will address your present difficulties and how to best incorporate new behaviors.
